The LT3080EMS8E is a 1.1A low dropout linear regulator that can be paralleled to increase output current or spread heat in surface mounted boards. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower allows it to be used in many applications requiring high current, adjustability to zero, and no heat sink. Also the LT3080EMS8E brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation —down to 350 millivolts— when used with multiple supplies.
